Why your IMEI does come back as not found?

Isn’t it frustrating to receive a message from us that your IMEI # could not be located? Some people do find this somehow inconvenient and it saddens us to receive this message also. FreeUnlocks only wants to deliver an A+ Service and NO UNLOCK code is not an option for us.

The IMEI # does come back as not found is caused by the following mistakes.

Incorrect inputting of IMEI #

This will greatly affect the process of generating an unlock code because the IMEI # is hooked up from the database of the unlock tool and every mobile phone has a unique IMEI # that is specifically designed to that particular mobile device.

Incorrect Unlock tool

This will also affect the process in generating the unlock code because every unlock code is being generated from a database of the specific manufacturer or service provider. For example, if you have a HTC phone, you cannot use an unlock tool for BlackBerry phones because HTC’s IMEI is unavailable on BlackBerry’s database. Likewise, you cannot use an unlock tool from AT&T if your phone is locked to a T-Mobile Network.

On this article these are some hints of which are the best option to choose to avoid the message “Your IMEI # could not be located.”

Know the Manufacturer of your phone.

Knowing one’s manufacturer is the best key in order to have a successful unlock code. There is a 99% chance that we can locate your IMEI # if you will choose to unlock by a manufacturer’s unlock tool because your unlock code is being generated via manufacturer’s unlock tool.
